Generally, there are two rated currents for inductors, one is the heating current defined based on the thermal effect of the inductor temperature rising, and the other is the saturation current, which is the current value when the inductor value drops by 30%. The correct selection of the appropriate inductor current rating is crucial to ensure efficient and stable operation of electronic equipment.
