  • SMD multilayer chip inductor is formed by several layers of ceramic (ferrite) material. Multilayer chip inductors feature with low cost and miniature size compared to the wire-wound inductor. Normally, the inductors of the multilayer structure will be chip beads that work as the EMI filter. However, for some applications, because of the limitation of the dimension, the customer also chooses the multilayer product which works as the inductor. In high frequencies like GHZ, the raw material for the core body will be ceramic. In some cases, the customer will use the multilayer chip inductor in the applications of DC-DC, which no high current passes through. However, due to the technology advanced, the design engineer will need a product that has a small dimension but can carry up a high current. To meet the different requirements of customers, Zxcompo provides various sizes of multilayer ceramic chip inductors 0402 0603 and 0805.
