Surface mount shielded inductors are designed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) by enclosing the coil in a shielded housing. The housing is typically made from a ring core, which is used to cover the areas around the coil and create a closed magnetic circuit. This helps to block external and internal magnetism from affecting the performance of the inductor, which can improve its reliability and accuracy in applications where EMI is a concern. The use of a shielded housing can also help to protect the inductor from external sources of interference, such as other electronic devices or electrical noise.

To fit the different applications, our SMD shielded power inductor SDS series has a wide range of industry-standard footprints, from the smallest 3.0mm to 12.0mm. The inductance ranges from 1.0uh(1R0) to 1500uH (152) and the customized inductance value (customized characteristic of SMD shielded power inductor) is available.
All of the products will be checked by the fully automated machine to reach our goal; zero defects. Furthermore, except for the standard part, a customized item is suitable for us.
In addition to the standard features of our family of specifications, Zxcompo offers low minimum order quantities (MOQs), tighter tolerances, and custom products for different inductance and frequency applications. With our team of engineers’ deep background in the ferrite powder field, we can modify the core powder to design and produce the most suitable product to meet our customers’ applications.
